That 80's Band
That 80's Band are currently seeking musicians for a celebration of the golden era of pop music. From post-disco synth-pop, UK New Wave, US radio pop-rock anthems and everything in between.
The Band
Some say that Rich has a more than passing resemblance to Phil Collins, both in looks and in the vocal department. This, along with his years of gigging experience make him the perfect frontman for That 80's band! Rich has performed with many acts including First Collins, covering the the vocal legends work spanning his time in Genesis, and the entirety of his stellar solo career. As if having the ability to sing this vast repertoire isn't enough, Rich covers everything from Bronski Beat to Alexander O'Neal without breaking a sweat.
Simon has played 2000+ gigs with 100's of bands ranging from covers, wedding and function bands to original rock and pop bands. He has toured Europe, playing theatres, pubs and clubs all over the UK, Holland, Italy, Hungary, Germany, The Czech Republic, Latvia and played over 300 shows in the resident bands of the Hard Rock Cafe and The Alamo Club, Dubai. He also written and recorded numerous albums and is also the bassist for art rockers, Traffic Experiment. Simon has played a number of high profile shows including live TV.
Barri is a vastly experienced drummer who has played gigs throughout the country with many bands including the Funatics. He has performed songs from the 50's to present, but as with the other members of That 80's Band his passion lies in the golden era of pop music, the 1980's.
Barri is equally comfortable behind his Yamaha kit or faithfully recreating the classic sounds of the era behind one of his many electric set ups. From LinnDrums, 808's or the DMX, Barri can be found sculpting the authentic sounds that drive the band.
